HOW PLASTIC MAKES AN UNTIDY NATURE...

 HISTORY OF PLASTIC...

In 1907 belgian chemist Leo backeland created Bakelite which is first real synthetis plastic.Plastics are organic polymers of high molecular mass,they are derived from protochemicals.Polyvinyl chloride(pvc) was first polymerised solid plasitc material.

CONSTITUTION OF PLASTIC...
Plastic is made from many natural component such as salt,crudeoil,cellulose,coal,natural gas by polymerisation process or polycondensation.In polymerisation reaction ethylene and propylene are used as catalyst.There are two types  of plastics.

(1)Thermo plastics:-The plastic which is soft on  heating and then hard after again cooling.This plastics are recyclable in nature.For example-PVC,Polysterene,acrylic,teflon,polyethylene etc.
(2)Thermosetting plastics:-The plastic which never soft once they have been moulded that means they are irreversible physical change.This plastic is nonrecyclable in nature and for this plastic our nature or environment becomes polluted.For example-Bakelite,Melamine,Formica,Epoxide,Phenol,Formal dehyde etc.

HOW PLASTIC HARMFUL FOR NATURE...

(1)Plastics are non biodegradable:-It is a component which is covered thirty percent  of all plastics such as water bottle,bag,straw,polythene are used and thrown away.For above 100 years plastics can not biodegradable inside the soil and they are not decay by bacteria inside the soil. these plastics are breaks down into small pieces .From these many toxic and harmful chemical are released and seep into ground water which is flowing into lake,river,pond etc.

(2)Plastic affects human health:-From plastic many harmful chemical are released which are found in blood and tissue of human being.They are leads to cancer, birth defect,immunity problem,skin desease etc.
(3)Plastic costs financial damage:-Every day lakhs of tourism  comes to india or to any other country.For plastic pollution tourism, business,health of human,animal,fish,bird are suffered.For this reason financial damage gradually inflicted.Per year 30 million tons of plastics are used but only 8 percent gets recycled.
(4)Plastic poisons food chain:-In marine animals are also affected by plastics pollution.These animals including plankton(smallest animal of ocean) are eating plastic and get the chemical or toxic chemicals.The broken down pieces of plastic are displaying the algae needed to sustain sea life.

(5)Plastic pollution affects on wildlife:-Our wild life also affected for plastic pollution.They eat plastic for food and it is found in extremely remote areas of the earth.In our marine system plastic loosed  the natural materials.
